Training frequency - check all driver files to ensure existing training certificates have not expired. Typically training expires within 3 years and even though some certificates do not have an expiry date written on them, it is highly recommended that retraining take place every 3 years or when regulations have changed.
The International Registration Plan (IRP) is a reciprocity agreement between the United States, the District of Columbia and Canada that recognizes the registration of commercial motor vehicles issued by other jurisdictions. Prorate allows the carrier to pay registration fees to Alberta for jurisdictions they wish to travel into.
IFTA is a multi-jurisdictional fuel tax agreement among member jurisdictions to simplify the reporting of fuel taxes. The minimum registered gross vehicle weight (GVW) requirement to register under IFTA is 11,797 kilograms or a unit with three or more axles, regardless of weight. Carriers have two choices when it comes to Fuel Tax.
Carriers often find that they are overwhelmed with all the regulations and requirements of holding a Safety Fitness Certificate (SFC) and operating NSC units. Our knowledgeable staff can assist you in ensuring your company is compliant with the NSC regulations. Your Safety Officer should be familiar with all the required policies and have the procedures in place to maintain compliance with NSC Regulations.
As a Carrier who holds a Safety Fitness Certificate (SFC), you are required to report to Alberta Transportation your principal place of business address. This stated address is where all your records, reports, files, and documents are to be kept and for the most part stored for 5 years. This address is where an investigator or auditor would attend to review these required records.

Dont go to western license. This place has the worst staff of any business in Lethbridge. These are the most useless bunch of overweight slobs who can't figure out how to do the most basic registry service. Not sure how this place even stays open with such ignorant people standing around there all day pretending to work.

Went for my class 5 basic road test today; tester automatic failed me because i decided to be cautious at the intersection, 2 cars on the other side weren't going to stop nor slow down so i couldn't go, by the time i could, the light turned red then i quickly went because those cars stopped finally and i had to go since i couldn't wait at the intersection, and he said i waited too long. OK. next time i'll just go and get us both killed :) also marked me on something he didn't even know what it was, and he had to ask me and of course i didn't know since he didn't say anything then. he couldn't tell

I went to get my Class 4 licence driving test here, and the corrupt examiner failed me twice for asidine garbage like "Slowing down a little to much before entering the turn lane" or "Not using the parking lane appropriately during a right turn" I don't know if he treats everyone like this or just low-income Native Americans. He was marking me like -80 which is 30 points past a fail. I decided to go to another registry and passed easily with a -15.
If you want a fair road test I would definitely suggest using another registry.
