Just to start off on a positive note, Fred was pleasant. He wore a mask (because of COVID) while working and he made sure not to make a mess of our place.
We hired Fred to snake the main household drain and he did that. However, Fred neglected to ask whether we had a backwater valve. When my husband thought this might be an issue, Fred's response was, "I hope I didn't put a hole in it." You would think that someone who clears drains for a living would ask about backwater valvesĀ before starting work rather than relying on homeowners, who aren't drain experts, and are somewhat

A Alert was recommended to me by a plumber friend whose company uses their services and I can see why. After a horrible experience with a previous plumbing company over a recurring flood in our basement, we called A Alert. They were able to come immediately and took their time to investigate the problem looking through every drain. Eventually, they were able to identify the problem and come back within a couple days to fix it. Fair prices, especially compared to other plumbing services. Will definitely be recommending them.

If you have an emergency plumbing issue, and want your contractor to arrive on site sometime after 10:00AM, then A Alert Drain Limited is for you. If you need a plumber that knows how to acquire and operate a gas powered generator, then A Alert Drain Limited is not for you. If you want one hundred (100) family's (some of which are elderly and disabled) to go without plumbing services for more than one hundred twenty hours (120), then A Alert Drain Limited is for you.
True story folks, I've recently had the misfortune of being one of the one hundred (100) units at the mercy of A Alert
