Curtis started in the plumbing and heating industry as an apprentice plumber in July of 2007. Once completing his journeyman plumbing and general gas fitter certifications in 2011, Curtis decided to start CNS Mechanical Inc. with his wife Sommer. Curtis enjoys all aspects of the plumbing and HVAC trade.
He is a life-long learner and continues to update his knowledge and skills of the trade by continuing to take courses and certifications offered provincially, nationally, and internationally. He is also the rural representative chosen by the Mechanical Contractors Association of Saskatchewan on the SaskEnergy Network Member Industry Dialogue board.
