Established in Courtenay in 1996 as a one-man operation-now has a market that covers mid to North Vancouver Island. Murphy Beds, also known as "Wall beds", is a type of bed that folds up against the wall and is hidden when not in use. They are excellent space-saving beds, especially in rooms for multi-function or with limited space, such as small bedrooms, guest rooms, craft rooms, or home offices.

Choose from our standard model or work with one of our designers to customize a unique wall bed with drawers & doors for storage and desk add-ons with many options for molding and finishes that can compliment any type of interior design.These beds are designed for you. You get to choose the wood, stain or textured melamine and have additional features added such as storage, drawers, small desks and more!

The Island Series is our most economical way to add a genuine Murphy Bed to a room or space. They are made from quality 3/4 Roseburg Melamine and come in four colours: Cognac, Fusion, Desert Glow & White. Add a textured finish melamine for $350 for the bed only and $175 for each additional wall unit.

Our custom Murphy Beds allow you to choose the wood and stain or modern high pressure laminates (hpl). We can also add additional features such as storage, drawers, small desks and more. All of our beds & furniture are fabricated on-site. Our 3D hpl laminates by Tafisa and Finsa offer a stylish and very wear resistant materials.

The entire project from start to finish was a very positive experience. All things went smooth from our first meeting with the designer to the final touches from the installer. We ended up with a beautiful product and some new friends. It has been a pleasure to deal with Inspred Spaces for our vacation rental.
