Rational treatment is based on an understanding of these principles: body unity, self-regulation, and the interrelationship of structure and function. Osteopathy is a manual medicine, both an art and a science, that treats the whole person - and realizes that each person is an individual - a unique collection of systems that are highly interrelated.
It is a manipulative therapy along the lines of yoga therapy, massage therapy, chiropractic care, physiotherapy etc.; similar - yet very different. It is based upon the principle that our physiology (how our body works) is an expression of our anatomy (our structure). Broken, misaligned structure means poorly functioning tissues, dysfunction, and, pain.

Worth the drive from Oakville!!! I have had chronic neck/back/hip pain (Ankylosing Spondilitis) for over 45 years, and have seen many practitioners (Osteopaths, Chiropractors, Accupunturists, Massage Therapists). I have never felt more effective and sustained relief as I have after Karina's treatments. She is the best Osteopath I have seen, and combined with her Massage Therapy background it is clear to me that her knowledge of physiology and body manipulation is second to none. The icing on cake for me is we also chatted about nutrition and healthy lifestyle; she clearly has so much knowledge

After years of suffering with chronic, undiagnosed pain, my physiotherapist suggested I give Osteopathic treatments a try. Karina has been a life changer, and I would recommend anyone giving Norfolk Osteopathy a try. I truly don't know where I might be without her. Experienced, compassionate, and extremely knowledgeable. 5 stars all the way.

The first time I met Karina was because I had terrible pain in my right arm. I had tried a few different things to ‘fix it’ but nothing worked until osteopathy! And in the meantime, while fixing my arm, she helped me with a lot of other physical issues I was having. I love how osteopathy treats the whole body, stressing how everything works together. And I love how easy Karina is to connect with. I can’t say enough about how pleased I’ve been with each treatment session, feeling “at home” every time I meet with her. I 100% recommend osteopathy and Karina!!
