I ordered 2 Pad Thai and 2 wonton soups from Ty's Fine Foods around 4:30 today. I had $100 in gift cards that I purchased from a silent auction. The date on the cards says October 23, 2019 (obviously I didn't have them until later than that). When questioned about them, I explained that I hadn't been eating in restaurants due to respiratory issues/Covid, and now I've just returned from 7.5 months away at school. Lily refused to honour the cards and said no one ever paid for them and I should take it up with the charity I bought them from. I walked out because I didn't want

Another place that is missing the mark and completely out of touch with reality. They used to sell really crappy "flatbreads" that were just canned vegetables put on store bought pitas and toasted in the oven. Mmmm my favourite!! Soups are bland and generic, nothing new or exciting. I got a Mac and cheese once that was over cooked noodles and oily cheese sauce blasted in the microwave until it was crispy. I'd rather have KD any day. Sausage rolls!! 1963 called, they want their menu item back.
The owner sold it to some poor unsuspecting woman who got rid of the award winning flat

3.5 stars. Great affordable lunch spot in Sechelt. I stopped in today for lunch with my Mom. She always gets the cabbage rolls, I got a walnut, pear and blue cheese flatbread and coffee. We shared both meals. They didn't have a full display case of food like I saw in others photos, it was my first time coming here so not sure if that's normal.
Service is friendly and they have free wifi. Total bill came to around 17$ (not including tip) for two people which is pretty amazing these days. It's not the most high end gourmet food but the price reflects that. Ambience is great with light

Chanced upon this little gem when we were visiting the Sunshine Coast. It was perfect for a light lunch. The home made soups were excellent- tried the flight of 3 for just $4.00. It was Black bean, Portuguese kale and tomato basil. The flat bread too were yummy. The owner was so friendly and shared some of her secrets!

Happened upon this urban Cafe while exploring Sechelt shops while visiting from Vancouver. So glad we did! Amazing made from scratch soups. I had curry chicken and my husband had split pea with ham. He had fresh garlic scone and I had fresh spinach scone with mine. Scones were perfect! Savoury, biscuit like texture and no added sugar...just flavour!
The woman who helped us was so friendly and helpful. I was so tempted by the fresh roasted veggies ... add to soups, sandwich, or on a plate. Your choice! Roasted Brussel sprouts, yam strips, mixed veg and roasted garlic. Next time! Best Cafe in Sechelt
