Dr. Denis Dubuc completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Waterloo, where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in 1986. He also received a bachelor's degree in Visual Science in 1988 and a Doctorate of Optometry in 1990 from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, Illinois. A lens exchange isn't swapping out your contact lenses for new ones. When you have a high refractive error, early cataracts, or presbyopia, the natural lens inside your eye doesn't work the way it should. That's where we come in: we can recomment qualified surgeons that can remove your natural refractive and replace it with either a monofocal lens or a multifocal lens.
Imagine life without glasses or contact lenses. Sound appealing? At Dubuc Eye Care Centre, we can enable the procedure to restore your vision and perform all the necessary follow up appointments. However, in order to be considered a good candidate for laser eye surgery, you must meet certain criteria.
Once we've determined the state of your vision and compiled results, we'll discuss a plan of action, which may include procedures such as laser eye surgery or eyewear such as glasses or contact lenses. Children and seniors can claim one full eye exam per year.
Adults between the ages of 20 and 64 years can only claim annual exams if they suffer from certain health conditions and must otherwise pay an $115 to $160 examination fee that can be claimed with most insurance providers.Your eyes are precious. Let us take care of them by booking an eye exam at our Cornwall eye care centre today.
