Over the past 10 years, The Modern Family Boutique has evolved to be so much more: it is a place to gather and to support our fellow parents. It is also the best spot in Kamloops to find great quality name brand children's and maternity clothing, natural parenting items, baby carriers, and nursing products.
In 2016, we moved out of Children's Consignment and began focusing on locally sourced handmade clothing and accessories. When Lizzie Bits Baby Co. became The Modern Family Boutique in 2019, we expanded our clothing and brands to accommodate children up to 10 years of age.

Services
We provide selling space in our store for your consignable maternity and nursing clothing. All items must be washed prior to bringing them to the store, and in excellent used condition. The Modern Family Boutique decides the price of the merchandise and we price all inventory based on condition, brand, style and demand.

Love shopping here, they are always so kind and helpful when I go in, they have nice quality merchandise, maternity consignment and new maternity clothes, plus many other great items from infant to toddler toys and clothes, baby carriers of all different kinds. Excellent selection of high quality products. The store has a very relaxing environment to browse in and incredibly helpful/knowledgeable staff. I once went into the store looking for a very specific piece of clothing, that they did not currently carry. I received a phone call, a few weeks later, telling me they had received one in consignment and would hold it for me. It blew me away that the staff remembered and followed up. Very impressive!

This shop is great! They are always hosting events for moms in the community like breast milk donation drives, classes on how to cloth diaper, and sing songs for mom and babes.
The products are cool and useful, there is also consignment nursing and maternity ware for moms, which is a boon because kamloops has nothing for maternity or nursing clothes.

I have always loved this store! They have high quality clothing and accessories for moms and babes. They also have events for toddlers and the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely is a little more on the expensive side, but obv due to the quality of the purchase. I buy most of my son's clothes from here! And the recycled play dishes are amazing! Jen is also always researching new and exciting items and is very helpful.

Such an amazing boutique with so many spectacular brands. For those people that are not in the young family days themselves but want to give a high quality modern gift I suggest popping in and asking the girls for suggestions. You will have an amazing gift to feel proud giving! NOT just moms and babies. There are tons of things for older kids too!
