Yacht Metalworks is located on the grounds of The Creek Marina which boasts a 50,000 kg (110,000 lb) capacity traveling boat lift. In addition to Yacht Metalworks' welding and fabrication services, there are many other marine trades service providers on site. Collectively, we are ready to build, refit or repair any of your vessel's equipment, upholstery, fittings, or structural elements.
Speciality Ramps: One of our recent projects was for a marina that often brings in vessels to dry dock. Traditional methods involved having staff clamber down a rocky beach to place slings under vessels so they could be lifted out of the water by a mobile crane.
Yacht Metalworks created an 18m long aluminum ramp (with slip-resistant decking) which will allow staff to get down safely into the water, past the rocks without a dangerous climb down the beach.Yacht Stretching: One of Barry's remarkable projects was for a client who found the galley of his yacht a bit too small.
