Structural house design is a service that I offer to residential clients for new builds (primary residence or out-buildings) or modifications to existing buildings. I provide hand drawn sketches and/or digital 3D software models to establish the new look for your home and work with a local engineer to provide permit compliant plans for building purposes when required.
Landscape plans are an integral part of a successful landscape. Just as a house requires detailed plans to properly direct the safe and successful end result; so too does a landscape plan ensure the professional outcome that you have invested in and expect to achieve. If your goal is a beautiful functional landscape, then a professional landscape plan and the services of a landscape designer are worth the investment and time they require.
The first step towards a more beautiful landscape begins with a landscape design consultation. The consult is generally one hour with an additional 30 minutes being dedicated to providing the basic sketch of the landscape, including the names of key plantings and hardscape elements. If your project is small and simple in nature a concept sketch may be all you require to take the ideas and make them happen.

Over a period of two years Derue Designs provided separate backyard and front landscaping plans for our property. Rhonda was a great pleasure to work with. Her vision and conceptual drawings were inspiring, and still practical in that we planned to build some of the elements like decks on our own. The new stone front entrance was not something we could tackle ourselves, and the subsequent detailed front landscape plan was instrumental in making construction streamlined from start to finish for the contractor who brought the project to completion on time and within budget. Rhonda saved us time, money and stress. Our project was a big one that took 6 mths, multiple companies and a lot of people. Our project is our dream come true and it would not look anything like the finished product without Rhonda. She was integral in every facet of our space; from the design, stone selection, placements, flower selection, roof structure design and finishes. She has trades that are skilled and easy to have in your space that she has worked with for years and are excellent in their area of expertise (carpenters, painters, landscape companies, screens, landscape lighting, etc.).
