Aurora Senior Soccer Club
As the sun set on a great afternoon at Highland Park marking the 20th anniversary of the great Hearts achievement, perhaps it's fitting to show a picture of some of the potential future stars. Thank you Ed McNally for coordinating the players and guests, and a special thank you to Steve Maio for providing some great on field entertainment with his U14 academy teams.

Congratulations again to all the players and coaches of this great team. What a weekend of football - ahem- soccer we have coming up! 1st the 2 favorites face off in a bitter rivalry in the Copa America final on Saturday at 8pm ET. Argentina vs Brazil. Will Messi finally get that elusive international trophy he's been chasing?
Services
Highland Park is regarded as the best soccer field in York Region, due primarily to the efforts of our Director of Property and his support volunteers. The main field has lights for night time games and also an adjacent training pitch. The field is used by the ASC senior teams as well some games for Aurora Youth Soccer.
The Aurora Soccer Club is an organization dedicated to the promotion of sports for the enjoyment of its members and the Community. Founded in 1954, the Club consisted of 2 senior teams that played every Saturday in the Newmarket and District Soccer Association. The Aurora Firsts in the first division and The Aurora Maroons in the second division.
The majority of our members are players. With 14 teams, our members comprise over 400 members representing several men and women competitive and recreational teams. This includes five over 35 oldtimers men's teams, and a recreational over 50 men's team. Our players are the backbone of the Club and we strive to provide them the best in playing facilities.
Over the past 50+ years the Aurora Soccer Club has been blessed with the support of many dedicated individuals who contributed tirelessly for the betterment of "the Club". If it were not for these people the ASC would cease to exist today. So, let us remember past Club members who are no longer with us.
The early 1970's saw the introduction of a new "Old Timers team" to exhibition play. This team still continues today as The Over Fifties, and has played exclusively for almost 40 years against the West Rouge Blues team (who travel to Aurora each week). Made up of mostly club veterans, with a long list of achievements through our competitive teams of the 70's, 80's and 90's, these players get together each Wednesday at 7:00 PM to kickabout.

The best place to watch, play, and live soccer. It's open to the public, and it is family friendly.

Good turf well maintained. Best part is there is a club run bar on the side of the turf. Have a beer and each some rep soccer
