Services
At County Place Early Learning & Day Care, we strive to provide a clean, safe and educational environment for young children and their families. Within our care, children develop skills that promote physical, emotional, social and intellectual growth. We believe in being supportive of our parents, and we welcome their positive involvement and presence at County Place at all times.
County Place acknowledges the fact that every child has his/her unique interests and dislikes. Based on these interests/dislikes, daily lesson plans should evolve. As children get older and more independent, they need new challenges. That's why we offer a school-age program for before and after school care and enrichment programs that address the changing and more varied needs of growing school-age children.
There is currently an opening for a part-time childcare worker with level two or level 3 ECE certification, who can either work 7 am- 11am or 2pm -4pm. We will also accept resumes for substitute workers can can fill in during sick days or vacation days. We are always looking for volunteers to come in and do live demonstrations (dance, yoga, science experiments) or even just to read books and play.

As a mom of 2, I am always so excited to see what the menu items are at County Place. They go above and beyond to offer the children top grade food choices and encourage the children to try new things from all over the world as part of their featured cultural monthly themes. A day at the centre allows the kids to explore the world :)

My wife and I have found this child-care facility to be mostly beneficial for our son.
Benefits include well-trained staff that are both considerate and responsible, NO TV-time, in-house prepared meals that are both wide ranging and mostly healthy (as well as an early-morning and late-afternoon snack).
A few downsides are limited gross-motor learning equipment (i.e. climbing equipment, although they have recently added some structures outside that are appreciated and do work hard to add new items where they can) and individual one on one assistance with fine-motor development is also limited

My son loves going to County Place. I have no trouble getting him ready and out the door when he knows we're on our way to "caydare". We have recently made the switch to this daycare this summer, and after a few months, I am glad we did. My son loves all the care providers working there, and I can say the same. They are communicative and seem to understand my child as an individual and how to care for him daily. I am very happy with this daycare.

I sent my VERY shy almost 3 year old to County Place. The centre she was in seemed to almost "forget" about her as she's so quiet. The louder, more rambunctious kids often getting most of the attention; while my quiet kid would get bitten, hit or sometimes ignored without anyone noticing because she wouldn't tell a teacher. I went to County Place, hoping for the best but not expecting them to be able to be different. But...just after the first day, I saw a shift. She WANTED to go to daycare. She was coming home and talking about her teachers and her new friends. I'd walk in with her and the kids

We switched to County Place and we are so glad we did. Our kids are happy to go to "school" every day, and the care they receive is excellent. The teachers are all engaged and kind, the meals and snacks are nutritious and include fruit/veggies with every one, they go outdoors multiple times a day almost every day and the programming is well-rounded and educational. The centre is always clean or being cleaned, and most importantly, our kids are safe, happy and learning a lot.

My daughter has been going to this daycare from the very beginning. Mrs Jackie was her teacher at a year and now is the director of the Center. I’m so appreciative of the teachers and staff and how far they go the extra mile. You can tell the teachers really care about you and your child’s needs. Thank you to County Place for being my child care provider since day one. My daughter loves this place and that alone makes me a very happy parent.

Our child has been coming here for 6 months now, and it has been as great an experience as possible, especially as first-time parents. Our daughter looks forward to seeing her friends and teachers everyday, is learning a ton of great stuff (that we certainly didn't teach her), and we know she is being fed healthy balanced meals.
