Our evening dining menu is now available! Monday to Friday (kitchen closes at 9pm). On weekends we continue our tradition of serving breakfast all day, with sandwiches, burgers, quesadillas, soups and salads served after 2pm (kitchen closes at 5pm). Our food philosophy is healthy home cuisine. In our minds, food represents a chance to connect - to each other, to nature and to ourselves.
This is why we bake our own organic onion wheat bread and make our soups from scratch. We buy organic whenever possible, and we include at least one vegetarian soup and dish in all our daily specials. And when it's time for dessert, there's a variety of goodies to choose from (see the gallery below for a small sampling).

For the longest time Anna and Sonja dreamed of creating a special place that captured the essence of family and community: food, love and laughter. When Rob brought us together, we realized that we shared a vision. We talked. We scouted for venues. When we walked into 5718 Park Avenue, the long abandoned site of Benny's Deli, we knew this was the place.
We work hard to come up with offers and articles that you genuinely care about. Like quick-fix recipes or free gift certificates, birthday coupons and important local announcements. 2. We only send out one mailing a month, so you won't have to worry about us flooding your inbox. We figure if you want to hear from us more often than that, you'll check out our Facebook group or blog.

I showed up at 10:45 this Tuesday morning totally drenched from the rain and was greeted by a dark haired, male member of staff sliding his finger across his throat in my direction. A bit confused, I interpreted this as him telling me that the place was closed.
It's a bit of a strange way to greet someone walking into your business sure, but really the annoying part is that I had to get on this guy's case for him to actually verbally confirm to me that yes the place was closed. It was even harder for me to get so much as a tentative answer as to ''what's going on?/will the place be open later
