Played an open medal. Brutally hard. Greens were lighting fast. Great course but probably behind Hollinwell and Coxmoor in the area for me.

Craig Peters and the resterant staff provide a unique dining experience, and the sunday dinners WOW easily the best in the mansfield area, the lamb is superb!!!
Would recommend to anyone.

Unbelievably good golf course. Lots of pine trees on this heathland layout. Greens are the best I've played on in 2020, will definitely be back to play here again.

Knowing something has survived from ones childhood, is a great feeling. My family were members back in the early sixties, it was a great place to spend a few hours on a hot summer evening, or for weekend camping. It is great to see the old barn is still standing.

We have really enjoyed having a spot at Sherwood Forest for the last 2 years! Summer time and winter dog walks too! It is close to the city but seems far away!
