2000 - We purchased 1 more Arburg molding machine, had 6 employees and were running two shifts, morning and afternoon. We purchased 1 additional M1 type molding machine. 2002 - We purchased 2 more molding machines, a Van Dorn, 1 Arburg and 2 more M1 type machines and started running 3 shifts. We added 4,000 square feet of manufacturing space, hired 18 more employees permanently and installed 3 robots on the Arburg molding machines.
Kamek was recertified to the new ISO 9002/2000 Standards. 2003 - We added 2 more M1 type molding machines. 2004 - We installed an MRP system to improve our customer service, equipment scheduling, inventory control and tracking of our suppliers. 2005 - Kamek was ISO 9001/2000, AS9100B and TS16949/2002 certified.
