We met with Shane Clauson at the beginning of Sept to discuss our future in regards to financial planning and investing in TFSA and RRSP. He was very helpful in getting us set up and guiding us in a direction that will hopefully result in a financially stable future. He was able to answer all of our questions and give advice on what is best for us at this point in our lives. We will be meeting with him again early next year to take our planning to the next stage. Our experience with Shane has exceeded our expectations. Previously we had done our retirement planning through a big bank, but found them to lack flexibility and lack interest in our goals. I met Shane 8 years ago through work, he was our group insurance adviser. I had just left another company that had an investment plan and the new company did not have one. I talked to him about my other investment plan and he got right on it to get my new company enrolled into the same plan. I was so impressed with his work ethic that my husband and I switched all our investments into his capable hands. He has been nothing but amazing with our investments.
