Growing up in the business. Luke's late father Paul Pasmore started PAUL'S AUCTIONS in St Catharines, a weekly auction in 1966 - He was a pioneer in the industry bringing in European containers of antiques and the Thousands of truckloads that he brought in from all over US and Canada along with the local estates handled- Plenty of insight and knowledge was gained with the skill to sell, Luke took this and opened LUKE'S AUCTIONS 1989.
Joining forces with his dad in 1994, they created Peninsula Liquidators. Luke and his wife Sue took the business over in 2007 due to Paul's extended battle with Parkinson's. Facts; Paul was the first Canadian dealer to attend many of the auctions across the North Eastern United States.* A New York apartment and warehouse enabled him to ship two tractor loads a week for many years* Honorary member of the AAO.

Luke auctions is the worst, they had an online auction to end at 7am and i made sure to stay up/wake up early to bid along with others. i was able to acquire a few lots ad right before the bidding ended, they extended the time for an additional 11 more hours before closing therefore allowing more people bid higher than what it already closed for. its not fair to the people that are taking their time to give them money for a very unpleasant service. i know auction houses can be shady but they should at least send emails to bidders letting them know that the auction will be extended hours before

Absolutely a horrible experience, I don’t even want to keep the lots I initially bid on. Be careful if you want to bid with them! — The auction was already closing for the past hour (From 7am - 7:58am) and instead of letting the lots that closed, and the ones about to close finish. They paused the auction then suddenly open all the lots that originally closed and increase the time to another 11hrs with the highest bids still on the items! The worst part, the didn’t do it before the auction closed, they also didn’t notify anybody. I won multiple lots at the time and a lot of other lots were

I purchased a skid of women's clothing from the Misguided Feight Auction and want to tell everyone the amount & quality of clothing was beyond what I expected!!!! Knowing what I know now I would have paid $1,000 & still come out way ahead! Thank you Luke, Sue & Staff for all your hard work and friendliness 😁

My friends took me to Luke's Auction a few months ago and my sister and I have have since been on numerous occasions and have enjoyed our Days and evenings being so impressed with the items being auctioned and the expertise of Luke himself who also brings some humour to the evening. Have purchased many items from Luke's and love everything I have purchased to date at great prices.

Absolutely incredible, been going there for many, many years and both Luke and Sue are so fantastic! Fair, honest auction and really good people! Cannot say enough about the staff too Steph, Jay and the boys always helping you with everything and such a caring group! Absolutely adore them there and anyone that goes to this auction place is so lucky because you get treated with courtesy and respect. You feel like you are family!

I’ve bought many things over the years and always been very happy. I recently purchased a mattress and brought it home, unloaded it and noticed mold in a pretty large patch on the side. Things from there are not always perfect and I know this. The mattress had some dirt ontop which was not an issue. I called and notified them about the mold and they basically said it was inspected and no mold was seen so that’s it. It’s just very unfortunate for me because like I said I’ve purchesed many things and know that they are not perfect but the fact that it had mold on it and they didn’t care

I love going to auction sales, so to find Luke's after I moved here was great. I found so many items there to help furnish my apartment at a good price. It's a fun night out, good sandwiches and pie, seating is available and friendly gentlemen to help carry out your purchases. The ladies that work there are always polite and friendly.
Luke is a good auctioneer and it's lots of fun.
