Founded in 1951, the Thornhill Park Tennis Club (TPTC) is now a year round facility, offering indoor tennis during the Fall and Winter and outdoor tennis in the Spring and Summer. Our club is located at the corner of Yonge St & Centre St in Thornhill, Ontario. With an emphasis on programming, we offer something for players of all ages and levels.

If you are interested in simply booking courts, we offer various membership options. We take significant pride in our lesson program, providing group and private lessons for both juniors and adults, ranging from beginner to high performance.
Services
Group Lessons are run in multiple week sessions and classes are available for members and non-members. Classes are offered both after school (after camp in the summer from 4 - 7 pm) and on the weekend for children and adults. There are classes for a variety of levels: Beginner 1, Beginner 2, Intermediate 1, Intermediate 2 and Advanced.
For those students looking for more individual instruction, Thornhill Park Tennis Club offers private lessons. Thornhill Park Tennis Club will assign you the right coach to meet your specific goals and current level of play. Private Lessons are 1 hour in duration and the fee is $75 - $85 per hour ($65 - $75 per hour during the Spring/Summer).
Pro National- This program is for students that are at provincial or national level where we will focus on intensive training and the mental aspects of the game at this level. The coaches for this program are very experienced and can help you get to the next level. Thornhill Park Tennis Club provides lessons to players of all ages and levels.
Members from the preceding Spring and Summer season receive a $25 discount off the fees listed above. Our club is focused on programs (leagues, lessons, etc.) with organized tennis given the priority. Both the Ladies & Junior Leagues end in mid-July, leaving courts free for members until the end of the season on Mon.
This league is designed for those men and women looking for some friendly, yet competitive tennis. For those men and women looking for a workout, we offer daytime and evening singles competition. For those men and women looking for strong competition, we offer an evening doubles competitive league.

I agree with the other reviewers who say that this club is disorganized and that communication is lacking. I paid for a block of group lessons and when I arrived, they told me that the class was full. They offered me a new time for lessons and when I arrived they had changed the level (from level II to level I) without informing me. I ended up participating in the class and all of the balls were dead. I have been a member of other clubs in the past and I have never experienced any of these issues. I would suggest joining another club if you are considering TPTC.

Tennis dome contains 4 courts. There are divider nets that are functional. The courts are in GOOD repair. The main entrance and lobby are circa early 2000, but are sufficient. The staff is helpful, and they have a lot of different lesson options. Convenient if you live in the area, and has ample parking.

The club completely fell apart. The Management has changed recently and they changed the rules without notifying the members. Totally disorganized. Stay away!

Could be the WORST tennis club in the GTA. Absolutely terribly run. It is very disorganized, and they lack communication to its members. Why in the world does this tennis club NOT allow you to book a court during the busy summer season? They have a great online booking system, but it's only used in the winter months. People are busy. We can't rely on showing up and hoping that a court is open. Makes no sense. Don't even get me started on the house league. Problems with it began before the season even started (which by the way started late), and persisted right into the playoffs. Towards the end

Terribly disorganized! New instructor every week, instructors were late. My kid was confused as each week a new person will have to start from scratch. We ended up forfeiting our money and leaving.
