By far the best vet I've ever taken my dogs to. He is very knowledgeable and patient. He takes the time to do follow up calls and you can tell he genuinely cares about our pets. Very reasonable priced and very friendly staff who do thorough explanations of everything going on with my pets. Such a great Vet, patient caring and considerate.
We are very proud to work closely with the local rescue organization, Zoe's Animal Rescue Society, to provide high quality veterinary services for cats and dogs under their care. We strongly believe in the positive impact that Zoe's Animal Rescue Society has on the community and love doing our part to support their mission.
We know you love your pets and we do too, so we want to help keep them happy, healthy and a part of your family for longer. That's why we have our Whitemud Wellness Club to help stay on top of their preventative health care needs. Preventative medicine includes performing regular physical exams, routine vaccinations, fecal parasite screening, routine bloodwork and urine screening.
Our hospital is dedicated to providing the highest level of care throughout your pet's lifetime. This is particularly important as cats and dogs reach their "golden years" and become seniors. Illness and disease can progress quickly in senior pets and unfortunately can often go unnoticed until the progression makes them more challenging to treat.

Recommend not visiting this location if you value customer service. I had a extremely rude receptionist and asked to not deal with her anymore, if I was able able to speak with another receptionist very politely. I then encountered extreme rudeness from their whole front end team. I had been taking my dog here for 4 years and then took both my dogs recently. It is really sad that they developed a good relationship with Dr. Shilton only for front end staff to treat customers this way. I will be looking for a new clinic as the ladies at the front are extremely rude. There is also no complaint process

About a year ago I decided to start supporting my local businesses. I was using a vet way far away and then I came across a vet that was right across the street… Whitemudcrossing veterinary clinic Has been a godsend in so many ways… They are always friendly, Vet does an excellent job and the workers are just wonderful! So if you live in the Erminiskin, Empire Park and surrounding areas and have a fur baby….this is a great veterinarian clinic and we should ALL support our local community services!

My dog loves it here as it is always a calm place! The ladies up front are amazing and doctor C is a fantastic vet who really cares about his patients and their owners! As a soon to be new mom, he shared some info and gave me what I needed to also protect my baby from anything my pup could possibly carry!

Whitemud Crossing Animal Hospital is my go to when it comes to veterinary care. I have been a regular ever since I first brought my Dog here which was 3 years ago. Dr. Shilton is very knowledgeable. He is kind, compassionate and genuinely cares about the pets. And this goes for every other staff at the clinic.They are very hospitable and accommodating. I never feel rushed no matter how busy the Clinic gets. Could not imagine a better doctor for my Mickey. Really happy with their services.

My cat was suffering from a mysterious malady that countless diagnostics and procedures through another vet were unable to identify and resolve. Dr. Shilton quickly pinpointed the problem and recommended a fairly simple and inexpensive regimen that has restored my kitty to his former self. We have been clients of Whitemud Crossing for ~4 years now. We have since moved out to Spruce Grove but are still happily making the trek into the city to take our pets to this vet since they provide the best service we have ever received. The veterinarians, vet techs and other staff are all wonderfully polite and kind. Everyone makes it clear that they are listening to us, truly caring for our pets, and taking our concerns seriously. We have been bringing my puppy to Dr. Shilton since we moved to Edmonton 5 years ago. He is kind and knowledgeable and know he has the best intentions for my dog. So glad we found this vet. Staff are wonderful as well and have been nothing but kind and helpful.
