In 1989, Dr. Gidda obtained his Degree of Veterinary Medicine from Saskatoon's Western College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Gidda was a mixed animal and critical care veterinarian for the first four years before spending several years as a food hygiene veterinarian with the federal government. Since 1998, he has been established as a small animal practitioner, where he enjoys all areas of veterinary medicine and especially internal medicine.
When it comes to protecting your oral health, you've probably heard from your dentist time and time again how important proper dental care is, and your pet is no exception! Just like humans, our pets need good dental hygiene to help prevent dental disease and other serious health problems. To compliment our services, you can help your pet stave off many problems by providing basic dental care at home that includes brushing and good nutrition.

My best bud Chaos (male feline) was obviously lethargic and not doing well. Centre Street got him in right away, figured out he had an urinary tract blockage. They cared for him off and on over the course of a week giving him iv's and liquids. Cleared him up and he's been great since. Forever grateful and have been going there since for food and any check ups.

I brought my dog here, and he takes a medication to stop seizures. They refused to fill his prescription because I wouldn't book another appointment as I am a broke university student with no time, even though we went to one just last month. They wanted me to pay for another appointment to be told nothing, as they have Not helped him with his condition thus far. It is evident that the money is more important to the staff than the pets. I do Not recommend bringing your fur babies here. btw, he needs this medication to live.. and we were still turned away. thanks.

Brought my rescue cat, Hershey in for a checkup & blood work. Blood showed kidney issues & Dr. Gidda & his staff were right on the ball suggesting a meal plan & monitoring options. Decided a dental cleaning may be beneficial (he REALLY needed one...adopted him from Animal Services so he was a stray). Dr Gidda listened patiently to all of my concerns & we decided on a reasonably priced plan. The day after his cleaning Hershey is up & spry & eating! One of his assistants even called the next day to check in. Dr. Gidda & the ladies up front are TOP NOTCH! Everyone is so kind & caring

I tried the clinic and my friend’s recommendation as she highly recommended them.
My cat was ill and they got me in quickly. The staff were kind and the veterinarian was clear and laid out all my options, also taking financial constraints into consideration. In the end I decided to take him to emergency services where a ultrasound could be accessed if necessary. When I went to settle my account they didn’t charge me for the exam- which they certainly they could have. Given the expensive emergency bill this was very much appreciated.

My cat got really sick on Friday wife booked an app. But we booked at a different vet. They still got us in and helped in our time of need. Staff were so helpful and even helped us figure out we we booked and phoned them to cancel. Cant say thank you enough for getting him in .

We are new Dog owners and also new to the area so by a few neighbors recommendations and google review we luckily decided to trust our mini Labradoodle "Lewis" here! Initially Lewis being a drama queen created some concerns for us and Stephanie clinic manager was very understanding and accommodating with us and took the time to welcome and educate us about our new fur baby. Dr Magrath is not only excellent at calming Lewis and relaxing him on his visit but also very knowledgeable and confident in her field. I know there are a lot of clinics to choose out there so I highly recommend Centre Street

I took my Chihuahua Bambi here for her first vet appointment with me, i was very nervous as my dog is known to be very reactive especially with new people. The Veterinarian and the front desk workers all made her experience very good and also put my mind at ease! They were knowledgeable and clearly expressed their genuine love for animals. I would highly recommend this vet clinic and look forward to going back.

Just went to purchase the Urinary SO cat food.
It seems that the price fluctuates every time I phone in. Usually vets are cheaper than emergency locations, but not in this case.
That being said, the staff are great, and very receptive.
I suggest for the service, but definitely do some shopping if you're looking for dog or cat food.

Money Grab and Dishonest My husband and I took our dog in to assess the extraction of 2 teeth. Our appointment was at 4:15 pm. We had dinner reservations at 6 pm. Dr. Gidda was 40 minutes late. We ended up going forward with the appointment for the surgery with a blood test first. After the blood test I get a call from the Vet saying there may be… additional charges for more extractions. An obvious money grab. Our dog has already had 27 teeth removed so I said we only want 2 teeth removed. I then get a call from Stephanie the day before the appointment for the surgery and I explained again

Dr. Sparkman is the most caring veterinarian I have ever had the opportunity to visit with my dog. She gave us more time with her than we ever expected. She is caring and compassionate. These folks are amazing. They took lovely, kind care of me when my Hank had passed away and I didn't know what to do. Got my Luna in today to check on why her eyes were hazy and she was lethargic and grumpy(er). Can't thank you enough for everything, Dr Khurmi was so kind and quiet, I'm sorry Luna took a swipe at you :( Hope the drops work on my girl.

We love the service we get here! The staff are all super friendly, great with our dogs, and provide outstanding care and service. We usually see Dr Sparkman who is fantastic and an amazing vet, and we have also seen Dr Gidda who is also great with our pups. Wouldn't trust our dogs to any other vet clinic.
