The lake is spring-fed, crystal clear, and abounds with Trout, Perch, Bass, and Whitefish. From Spring to Fall, these species can easily be lured from the depths.
First time there. It certainly will not be my last. Mark is a very conscientious owner operator. He values you experience. The cabins are rustic but clean and organized. I cannot say enough, except that my wife and I really enjoyed the peace and quiet as well as meeting the other patrons who frequently visit.

We had a blast! Beautiful spot! Perfect for kids! We had a cozy cabin right on the water. The swimming area, campfire and dock were right beside us. Excellent spot for our littles, made it so easy to keep an… eye on them. Some went for evening walks and deer watching. Not far from town for any of your must needs. Slayed a few fish but not until they found the honey hole, at the right time of evening. lol Close to the Cup and Sauce trail and the Bridal Veil Falls. Most importantly, great time with great people and some awesome memories for the books. Would definitely go back!! Thanks to Mark

Beautiful location we were guest at a wedding. Stayed two nights in the Birch cabin..everything is pretty outdated but I think that is its appeal . The owners were very helpful and took care of anything that was needed....There are apple trees everywhere...did not do any fishing....but apparantly the fish is very good. Would stay here again .

Mark, Laura and the whole group at Timberlane we’re incredible with our parents’ surprise 60th birthday. They made all of our guests feel super comfortable, the cabins were great and the meals were delicious.
A great place to see Manitoulin, but even greater people running the place. Always going back!
