A young Australian vacationing in BC in the 1970s liked it so much that he decided to stay. And in 1977 that young Australian, Bill Hatswell, started Craftsman Collision. Less to Bill's liking was the state of BC's collision repair industry. So he did things better, starting with crisp, clean staff uniforms, friendly receptionists, clean replacement vehicles, and new standards of quality and accountability.
Although our name says 'Collision, ' vehicles can get damaged in many other ways as well - hail, falling chestnuts, rocks, vandalism, premature garage door closings. It's all backed by our Craftsman lifetime guarantee, which protects you from defective workmanship or materials on body and paint repairs for as long as you own your vehicle.
Please note that for Hit and Run, your insurance provider needs to authorize the estimate so you will be booked for an estimate appointment only. For Windshield Replacement, you will need to fill out your contact information and a Craftsman Glass representative will reach out to schedule an Appointment.
Around here, certifications are a big deal. We work hard to get them and we take them seriously. After all, if the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and third-party certifiers can trust us to fix their vehicles, so can you. We're using the proper equipment, like MIG welders, tools specifically for aluminum vehicles, and more.

So a semi driver ran me and another lady off Barlow trail North and I rear ended her. Thankfully we were JUST stopped at lights by Tim’s and McDonald’s so we were not going fast at all. This review is not for the repair/body work, that is still to come. This is strictly to acknowledge the exceptional customer service experience in dropping my truck off. From the initial meeting of a pleasant lady who informed me that the man I needed to speak to was with another customer but still chose to get my file and have me sign the paperwork and order my rental car pick up for me while I waited to speak to the person I set up my drop off with. Terrific experience with Ben and the team at Craftsman Collision in Calgary. My car has a quality repair, with super quality paint work that is impossible to tell detect where the damage was. Car was detailed, and cleaned before return and the repair was completed early. A total relief when handing over your keys. My go to shop from now on.

What outstanding service from Ben Cantafio, the manager at this location! I went back to Craftsman four years from when I got work done on my car by them as I encountered some issues. Ben looked over the work done, pointed out the causes (which were only partially related to the work done by Craftsman). He then took the car into the shop, fixed the items while I waited, walked me over the work done and assured me that if I ever encountered any problems to return to him. With this kind of service, why would I take my car to any other body shop?

This was my second time getting my windshield repaired in the last 6 months. My first repair was with Kirmac collision. My initial visit with Kirmac they told me that
They would call me when I can drop my car off. After 3 weeks I called Kirmac and they basically forgot about me.
The second time I decided to try Craftsman as my experience with Kirmac wasn't great.
What a difference not only was my experience pleasant they told me that once I drop off my car it will be ready in a couple of hours. Not only the great service they washed and vacuumed my car. Go see Jody at Craftsman she will

I was recently in a car accident and took my truck to Craftsman Collision is Langley (Port Kells) location. I went into the busy office and waited to talk to the reception to discuss the damage to my truck - we had to make an appointment to bring the truck back a week later to do an assessment of the damage. Upon my return they reviewed the damage and made a appointment to take the truck in later in the month. I talked to Ralph Robinson about the damage to the hitch accessory and had a print out of the item and where they could get the new replacement part - he advised me to email the document

These people are AMAZING. Their customer service was top of the line. I didn't catch the name of the receptionist but she was sitting at the front desk, dark hair and glasses I think. She was very polite and right to the point. I really like that in a person. Then there was someone by the name of Jody S who took pictures of the car, and things like that she was awesome. She was testing me and keeping me updated on my car as it was being repaired and detailed. Who ever did the repairs and detailed the car did an out of this world job. Their rental car was fantastic. I was rear ended Jan. 4 2017. I was told by ICBC to go directly to the shop. I live right around the corner from this shop. I have Gold Star insurance and was sent a letter from ICBC I was fully covered. I had to wait over 30 days for my appointment after the ICBC approval letter.
I WAS NOT GIVEN A replacement car but a cheap little fleet car. Great for customers that do not have RoadStar. From the first call to Craftsman they were more helpful than my insurance company! They arranged everything from the car rental to even doing an oil change and windshield replacement while my accident repairs were being completed. They kept in touch with me and gave updates. Upon final inspection a scuff was discovered. I waited while they cleaned it up before I left. I even had a treat on my front seat when I left. Highly recommend them!

I live in East Vancouver, but am currently commuting to work in Langley everyday. I brought my car into CC since they were an Express shop and I wouldn't have to bother with an ICBC appointment. I had an accident just before Christmas. They did my estimate, booked an appointment for my autobody repair and booked a courtesy car for me. My car was all fixed up, shortly after the New Year. I even had the cracked windshied replaced at the same time. There was no muss, no fuss. My car was nice and clean. Much to my surprise, they even topped off my windshield fluid which was getting low.
