I had booked an appointment for my dog as I just moved back to the area from another city. My family recommended this vet hospital. Called in to book all was ok. On the day I came in ( walked quite pregnant) to the location and called in -the secretary on the phone was extremely rude. She said I did not have an appointment, throughout the phone call was trying to blame me and that it was my mistake, that I must’ve booked at the wrong vet. I was so upset with her and it created a lot of stress for me. The end result was in fact that another part time secretary there had not entered my information

Dr. Donna and the team here were nothing but kind, thorough and informative when I went in for a first visit with my new pup. They showed actual interest in him and his personality and told me how he sat through his exam which was appreciated since the office is still doing curbside appts. Dr. Donna then phoned me to give me a rundown of his health, his flea and tick medication needs as well as to answer all my questions. She's very easy to talk to and I felt zero sense of 'clinic dread' as I do with other healthcare providers for humans.

Annex Animal Hospital is the best vet experience I have had in the city. Everyone at the clinic is super friendly. Dr. Rifkind discusses procedures and options clearly and talks through any questions you might have. He is very informative and relaxed and visits never feel rushed or pressured.
They continue to operate during the pandemic but without pet owners coming into the clinic, having consultations with the vet over the phone. They take a lot of care to ensure comfort and minimize exposure risk for both staff and clients, which provides a lot of peace of mind.

Dr. Donna is the best veterinarian in the world! She really took the time to help our little kitty Luna going through a sudden heart condition and continues to do everything she can to help. The care of my pet is not in question however, front desk customer service was very unprofessional and no transparency regarding fees.
My cat was prescribed with meds in pill form which needed to be cut in half. When I got home I decided to do that in one shot instead of doing it daily. I realized they short changed me on the amount of pills and I… immediately notified them the same day.
What should have been a simple fix was anything but - after much aggravation and repeated customer service failures, I will not be coming back.

Most expensive vet I've ever been to and they did not want to tell me what's wrong with my puppy, instead they tell me keep coming back and charging me $100-300+ each time without any diagnosis and telling me to come back again soon to check(so I can be charged again).They do not care about animals here and they just take advantage of people's love for their pets because if they cure the animal then they lose a paying customer and that is evident from my experiences. After my horrible experiences here I took my pet to its breeder and she diagnosed my pets issues within a few seconds

I called other vets first just because of proximity, and 3 other vets were busy, so I was pleased that AAH could see me right away to get a health certificate for puppy travel. Other places seem to charge an average of $150 with taxes for this service (I sell pups, so I do this a few times a year), but I was pleasantly surprised that AAH charged only $88 plus tax, so a nice round $100.

Horrible experience - I dropped off my dog, Cici, to be groomed at 8am with my 5-month old baby in tow. When I asked how long the grooming would take I was told to be back at 2pm. I should have known that something unorthodox was going on (why the hell would it take that long?), but I assumed they knew what they were doing (a silly assumption in hindsight). After I returned home I received a phone call and was informed that the groomer (Glenda) refused to groom Cici and that I would have to interrupt my baby's nap and come back to pick her up. Obviously I was not impressed.

This is my reggo go to vet for the guinea pigs. Maybe I'm lucky and have never had serious health problems with my pets so far but I have always found the vets to be very fair. I've called them the day of having an issue, sobbing on the phone and they have always made space to see my pets. The most I've spent here was around $200.00 for an appointment where my guinea pig seriously needed some hydration needles and purchased emergency care guinea pig food.
I am not ok with the other INSANE PEOPLE WHO COME HERE AND SOME CHICKS CHOW CHOW THAT ALMOST ATE PHEOBE IN THE WAITING ROOM.

My dog had abnormal swelling in her front paw and we took her in to see Dr Caplan at the Annex Animal Hospital. After a couple of examinations and multiple x-rays he determined that our dog (Russia) had a form of cancer and that the best course of action was to amputate. When we asked if a biopsy should be done the response was 'Why wouldn't I biopsy after we amputated?'

Decided to bring my puppy here for her spay after reading great reviews. Unlike the Brimley Lawrence Animal Clinic, my dog wasn't afraid to walk in the front door, the place was clean, organized and they didn't forget about our appointment. The staff are excellent with all the animals we saw come in and out of the clinic and were really great with Sam. I was given loads of information on the spay and left without any questions or anxiety about her care. Dr. Caplan is a great vet! They called as soon as the surgery was over, and we were greeted by many of the staff including Dr. Caplan
