A veteran in the industry, Owner and President Wayne Harder began sweeping floors on his father's commercial projects as a child. He quickly moved on to begin his career as a production foreman before expanding his skill set in the areas of sales, purchasing and estimation. With eighteen years of construction experience under his belt, founding his own custom home-building company was the natural next step.
Now many years later, Harder Homes continues to operate as a family owned business building new custom estate homes in Airdrie, Calgary and the surrounding area. Wayne still works intimately with all aspects of the business, overseeing every house as though he was building his own.

Our philosophy, "Built for the Way you Live" reflects our commitment to building beautiful custom homes for the families who live in them. Each Harder Home is built with style, quality and functionality in mind using only high-end products, professionally skilled trades and cutting edge building practices.
During this phase, customers of Harder Homes will work with a team of architects who will listen to your needs and put your vision on paper. Architects will develop the first conceptual designs based on discussions from your initial meeting. Customers can select from our plan gallery and modify as you would like, or provide your own ideas.
Before any construction begins, you will work closely with the Architects to develop and finalize the home of your dreams. Once plans for your home are completed, they will be submitted to the developer for architectural review and then to the municipal building permit office for review. Permits may be required for all or some of the following work: building, electrical, plumbing, septic system and sewer connection.
Whether you want a kitchen or bathroom make-over, wish to redesign your existing living space, or create new space through a basement development, you can rest assured that your project will be managed with the same craftsmanship and quality as all Harder Homes Ltd. homes.
