Recently, MacDonald Awning was very helpful in assisting me to trouble shoot a malfunction of the remote control, necessary to open my awning purchased from MacDonald's a year ago. After changing the battery to no avail, I contacted the company. I spoke with Bill Stoody, one of the partners, and he suggested I check the breaker switch (the red button) on my outside outlets. Sure enough it worked.
Normally most company’s would have dispatched a repair person who would have charged a fee for their service and expert advice. Bill graciously declined any remuneration.

We have had a MacDonald's awning for over 15 years but we were wanting to change to a new coloured awning. Once we started the process we found out we had structural issues with the stone of our house. Kip and his crew redesigned a custom support system to hold up the awning and made multiple trips to our house to ensure the project was completed to our satisfaction. We couldn't have been more impressed with the workmanship and customer service. I would recommend MacDonald Awning to anyone looking to add one to their house.

MacDonald awning had the awning ready and delivered right on time. The installation was more complicated than anticipated and required a board to be mounted on the siding first. They picked up the board and painted it that night, and completed the installation the next day - all for no extra charge. Great service!!
