Manfred Neumann and John VanderVeken, the founders of Vandex Manufacturing Limited begin working together in John's garage on a part-time basis. Jobs consist of small assemblies and light tool and die work. Due to a shift from tool and die work to metal fabricating, the name is changed to Vandex Manufacturing Ltd.
After outgrowing our Kilworth facility, our present facilities in Delaware, near London Ontario, are constructed. Mr. VanderVeken, a founding partner, retires and sells all remaining interests in Vandex to the Neumann family.
