Semi-permanent make-up (PMU) is a form of temporary cosmetic tattooing which allows you to have long-lasting eyeliner and lip colour as well as being able to shape and contour your eyebrows. The procedure involves tiny particles of pigment being placed beneath the surface of the skin, using a variety of different tools and techniques.
A real permanent tattoo uses ink; the semi permanent part comes form the fact that pigment is used - not ink. This pigment will stay in the skin for a number of years, gradually breaking down and fading with time, although the longevity of the results will depend on your age, metabolism, lifestyle, general health, and skin type.

These two techniques can come together to create a very individual look. The brow can be designed with lots of microblading strokes and a bit of powder or lots of powder with a few strokes.
