A Short History: In the early nineties we were Ecopainting Systems. Being green was not trendy at the time and running an "eco" company carried some risks. We survived, grew and the green movement is now mainstream. In 2004 we incorporated the company. Since 2012 Ecopainting is in Scarborough at 1345 Morningside Ave.

George Zarogiannis is the founder of Ecopainting Inc. George was born in Greece and came to Toronto to be a student at York University. He started painting in 1986 and soon after that, he started painting for himself.

We having nothing but fabulous things to say about Ecopainting and their team. They painted our 1400 sq ft apartment and it looks fabulous. As well, Karon was remarkable at helping us pick just the most perfect colours for our walls. We highly recommend them and will reach out to them again in the future. They arrived on time, cleaned up after each day so you felt that they had never been in your home.

We had a great experience with Ecopainting. Karon was very responsive and came to 2 home visits prior to our move-in to make sure we went through the house together to go over colours. The crew was friendly, professional, and followed COVID protocols (Chris was the crew lead and he was amazing!!). They also did a great job and didn’t leave any mess at all! They finished on time and were transparent about pricing. They even can in and helped us with some touch-ups after our movers came through. I would highly recommend Ecopainting!

This company was recommended by a designer. I felt that using only their own employees was a plus. The two painters who removed the wallpaper and painted a large room did a really excellent job of prepping and essentially made no mess at all. The painting was professionally done and the room looks great. Fabulous, even! I’m very satisfied and would use them again.

Karon, George, Katie, Greg and everyone at Ecopainting that worked on our office remodeling project was a great pleasure to work with! Everyone was professional, warm, friendly and quick to respond to any questions or concerns. The painting team worked during business hours and was so quiet and polite that none of our 40 employees really noticed that they were there! All work was clean and they always cleaned up and dust or mess left behind. I would highly recommend Ecopainting and look forward to future project with George and Karon!!!

I contacted Ecopainting to paint our exterior doors, stain our back deck and paint our wood windows. We couldn’t be more pleased with the results. Katie and Andrea did an amazing job. Their attention to detail was very much appreciated. The girls were also great with our two large rescue dogs which was an added bonus. George was also wonderful to work with. Timelines were met and everything was done as promised. This company does not cut corners. We will definitely be contacting them again for our future painting needs.
