Cultural expressions festival is an annual gathering of different members of our diverse community a week before Canada day to celebrate Canada multiculturalism day. There will be performances, International food, displays&crafts and family activities. We take great pride in our way of cooking and saffron is an essential part of that process.

Services
The Cinnamon Caf found its beginnings a caf and hookah lounge. We were well received in the community and people not only enjoyed our blends of traditional Persian hot beverages and snacks, but also enjoyed our traditional middle eastern social pastime; sharing of hookah. Times have changed and we no longer offer Hookah, but those beginnings can still be seen within our little caf.

In a Persian restaurant you would expect the pitas to at least be homemade, not cold pitas that seem to have been bought from a grocery store. Although the olive dip entree had good flavours, it was congealed and presentation was off. Falafel was mushy and bland instead of crispy and full of greens as it should be- fries and salad were soggy. Microwave beeping was heard several times during service, and service was very slow. Baklava was delicious- unfortunate because they definitely have potential 🙁

What a gem of a restaurant. I should have come here sooner.
I've been living nearby for over two years now and have never gone in because of two main reasons. 1, there are many restaurants in the area, I'm still making the rounds. 2, like many meat eaters, vegan isn't my go-to. It's not that I don't like it, it's like jazz. I never hate it when it's around, but I'll never go to it on my own. Not going here was a mistake!
It's very well designed and the staff are supremely friendly, but the food is of course the gem here. I never would have guessed the food here could pack such incredible and

If you’re in Fredericton, or even close to Fredericton, do not miss out on stopping at Cinnamon cafe. It is among the best we’ve ever eaten at. The food is always consistent and delicious. The food is vegan, but even those who aren’t vegan will agree it’s the best. Even if you stop in for coffee and dessert, it’s worth it. The saffron tea is delicious too. I tell everyone about it!

The Cinnamon Cafe in Fredericton is a must stop! Not only is the food absolutely incredible, their staff are very inviting and friendly. I had the shawarma plate (wrap with salad and fries) and I couldn't be… more happier with my choice. Flavor, textures and presentation was on point. I already can't wait to go back to try more! Do yourself a favor and try these folks out, you won't be disappointed.

My mom and I went to Cinnamon Cafe back in October. We weren't sure on what to choose, we debated on a few different options. Finally, we asked the server for a suggestion and opted for the Gheymeh Stew and wow... It was so so so delicious! With the small side salad it was just enough for both of us. Lately I've been thinking about this meal and I think its time I come back to visit and try something new!

Its a small place but the food is so flavourful. Being a vegetarian in an unknown place can be exciting but challenging. Luckily i found a good option at this cafe. The dessert was great too. I could also meet the chef and have a conversation. The cafe also displays paintings by local artists which gives it a great ambiance. It is very centrally located on King Street so it is very easily accessible on foot or by bus.

While staying at fredericton, I read about this cafe serving delicious and vegan baklavas. Located in downtown, I loved the vibe of this cafe reflecting such a positive and vibrant ambience.
I and my husband enjoyed the coffee with crispy baklava.

This place lives upto its name. Atleast with regards to the dessert dish we ordered.
Substantial use of cinnamon.
The order was an Americano, Turkish coffee, Golden dessert.
The Americano was very spot on. Flavorful and no burnt bean taste in a appropriately sized cup.
The Turkish coffee was ok. There were a few things added in there which muted the coffee taste. Usually I'm use to being offered additives in Turkish coffee (which I turn down). The result was a Turkish coffee that was way too sweet. Although points back for some very well ground beans.
Golden dessert. This was a pretty delightful

Came here during our east coast road trip. The waiter was super nice!!! He recommended a few dishes and things to do and see around the city. He made sure we were comfortable and checked in on us about food and water.
The food is good, we rarely eat this type of cuisine so it was nice to try. The lentil soup was really good!
The decor of this place is also amazing! A lot of local art all over the walls really adds to the place.
Overall it's a nice place to come in and grab a bite if you're in the city!

I was so busy enjoying the food I neglected to photo it.......I will say best falafels this side of the world. Some very tasty stews butternut squash, best balsamic rice! Lentil soup so tasty and the homemade bread served with it. All the food we were served kept getting better and better. The end chocolate cake (flourless) and coffee! This was a very delicious meal, generous portions. Service was excellent! Fredericton is so lucky to have this gem! I have driven over 150 miles for lunch happy I did!

A cute Persian-influenced cafe located right across from Kings Place. Great for full meals as well as coffee/tea/sweets! The interior design is really cute and the cafe feels like a restaurant due to the more formal table setup. You can do pick up here, but if you choose to dine in it's sit-down-order-from-a-menu style unlike other cafes in town like Chess Piece. So, I wouldn't recommend here to do work since it feels too formal. However, it is exceptionally quiet here and the tables are large, so if you don't give a damn about disturbing the ambiance you could definitely bring your

I needed to sit and do a little of work so I stopped in. I had the cafe latte, some lentil soup and some falafel dippers. It was ok but the lentil soup was quite bland. The falafel was ok, certainly not great though. I was able to sit on their couch and use their wifi so it met my needs. As a quality coffee place or hangout type of lounge cafe for over an hour, I can't see it being a good choice. But for a light middle eastern snack or meal to chat and sit for a little while, I think it would be good.
