In those first six months David, Rosso's visionary, would work every aspect of the cafe himself. Over the next few years, Dave would open a new location in Calgary's downtown core and a third cafe location in Victoria Park. In November of 2012, we introduced a Probat L12 coffee roaster to our Ramsay location.
This was after we spent time in the States, absorbing knowledge from industry professionals and practicing the art of roasting on a 100g Primo sample roaster. As a company, we have now traveled to Guatemala, Costa Rica, Rwanda, Myanmar, Brazil, Burundi and Colombia to purchase green coffee directly from producers and we plan for return visits to harness and build on those relationships.

Services
This is the first time we've branched out of the South East, and we couldn't be more thrilled! It's a cozy space with south facing windows, allowing the maximum amount of natural light into the cafe. This allows both humans and plants to get their daily dose of Vitamin D. The bar is outfitted with a La Marzocco Linea PB AVS, a pretty savvy machine that allows us to pull consistent espresso shots.
Our most recent space, located on 17th Avenue. This bright and cozy cafe is the perfect hangout on the east side of "The Strip", either indoors or out on the newly constructed patio area. The bar features a matte white La Marzocco Linea ABR, a Fetco brewer for our drip coffee options, and free wifi available for all of our guests.
Inglewood is one of Calgary's original neighbourhoods and has evolved into a destination for music, art and culture over the past 100 years. We love being a part of the community, here! Our 9th Avenue cafe was built out with the intentions of being comfortable and bringing the neighbourhood together in a versatile, homey space.
Located right in the heart of the commercial district of downtown Calgary, submersed beneath skyscrapers, public parks and the Calgary Theatre District. Stephen Avenue has been the home of our downtown cafe since 2009. Located directly across from the Glenbow Museum, in the Telus Convention Center, you can find espresso drinks being made on a brand new La Marzocco Linea PB which shares bar space with Nuevo Simonelli Mythos grinder.
Our very first cafe opened in the industrial neighbourhood of Ramsay in 2007. Originally developed for the use of Riverside Iron Works in 1927 then sold to Dominion Bridge in 1929, this building was first constructed as an iron foundry. This cafe is all character, showcasing the industrial architecture of its time.

Went to this Rosso location while we were in the neighburhood. The Barista who helped us was so kind and friendly, will definitely be returning to this location in the future!! He even did some swan latte art on my mocha which brightened my day (the pic was taken after I got to my car and doesn’t do it justice but you get the idea lol). Make sure to support local this Christmas Season!!

My family drove past this adorable cafe our my way to the mall, and we had to stop! I was pleased to see that they had oat milk available, and also vegan and gluten-free options for their baked goods. They sell a selection of tea and coffee making supplies that looked very high-quality. The outdoor seating was welcoming. I enjoyed my cup of coffee with a splash of oat milk and my sister loved her iced coffee! Thanks Rosso!

Delicate lattes! Love them! Coffee tastes delicious when roasted ethically and help communities outside of Canada, gotta love contributing to the producers of the fine beans!! Love their Rosso project! They have craft beer, kombucha, healthy snacks, and of course, yummy lattes (I like the sweet latte the best!).
They also participate in the Hot Chocolate festival in February where they made this amazing (if memory serves me correctly) salted caramel candied popcorn hot chocolate! So good and very creative! Hope that one comes back again!

Rosso Coffee was a block away from our hotel in Calgary, so almost every morning, we walked over to Rosso Coffee to start the day with a fresh cup of their coffee. I love the ambience inside - very spacious with couches, and standard tables and chairs. I've tried both their latte and cappuccino, and highly recommend the latter. Latte was too light for me palette, and cappuccino was strong - just what I needed in the mornings!

Rosso Coffee Roasters is a great spot right in the middle of CBD to chill and enjoy a cup of coffee.
The space here is spacious and welcoming. Love those comfy armchairs!
Coffee made from their own roastery was well prepared and really aromatic. Both Americano and Macchiato were nicely pulled.
Of course, don't forget to pick up a bag of their beans. If not there is always the option of ordering through their website.

The coffee is to die for, they make a hell-of-a latte and mocha, every store is so unique and personable and the staff are always friendly and knowledgeable. I am a happy home delivery customer as well, and I can't speak enough to the quality and pleasure it has been to deal with everyone involved. One life time customer right here!

This is a really great spot for a delicious coffee on Stephen Ave. Rosso has all the hipster-ness required to serve an incredible cup of joe, but not enough to make it feel unapproachable or Elitist. That's a fine line you walk, Rosso, and I'm fully impressed how you've managed to strike the perfect balance.
It's bright, sunny and a good place to either stop in for a quick coffee and sandwich to go, or to hang out and chill a little bit. There's plenty of table space for meeting up for , and a small bar along the wall if you'd like a spot to be by yourself.

I visited the Inglewood location for the first time and am very pleased! The vegan mulligatawny soup was delicious and my soy latte was awesome too!!! There is free 1/2 hour parking across the street and I lucked out on one spot. They were very busy for 2:00 PM on a Monday. I wanted a seat on the comfy couch but it was full.

My favorite place to have a coffee in Calgary. working right across the street, I stop in almost daily. They have a great drip roast that changes every couple weeks and have very solid coffee drinks as well. The traditional capp is really great and is how a cappuccino should be done.
Food options are not too vast, but are reliable. They have a wicked Thai Chicken Soup and a few sandwich/wrap options. The cheese biscuits are awesome (especially if they throw it on the panini grill for you!).
There is also a well curated wine and beer selection to indulge in for an afternoon/early evening drink

This neighborhood coffee shop was a former little wine bar that kept most of its previous components while adding great coffee and lunch eats to its offerings.
The set up is an artsy high ceiling loft with wooden chairs and tablesthat invite a hip crowd comprised of business people, locals and students alike to meet, get work done or just sit and people watch. The coffees are great and they have a little retail rack next to the counter, to purchase some of the organic ground goods to take home; nice!
