For years we thought we were in the garbage business. Obviously, it's in our name. As we grew and matured as a company, we came to realize that what we're really in is the consumption business.
We do regular pickups for acreages, rural residential properties and multi-family buildings in Strathcona County, Beaumont, and Leduc. Big projects like home renovations, spring or fall landscaping, and major clean-outs require disposal of debris and construction materials. When you rent a roll-off bin, we deliver the bin to your property, you fill it, and we pick it up when you are done.
We have great relationships with property management companies. We do unit clean outs, remove items left in alleyways and are equipped to deal with bed bug infested items. We guarantee same day or next business day service and provide an itemized list for all invoices. We have two waste solutions that are perfect for landscaping and construction companies.

We are moving in early July, and have accumulated a collection of junk over the years. We wanted to rent a bin to discard many of these items. I contacted “The Garbage Man” and requested a quote. I was provided an incredibly detailed quote, Including clear and simple pricing within a few hours. The man I dealt with was always polite and professional. The bin was dropped off Friday afternoon, we did all the work Saturday, Sunday I emailed them to let them know we were done, and Monday morning the bin was retrieved. It was an incredibly comfortable and simple process. I will absolutely be contacting

I’m so happy that we chose to switch from Strathcona County Garbage removal to The Garbage Man.
I’ve never had an issue with my garbage not getting picked up (unlike the county) my bins don’t get left or chucked in the middle of the road or in the ditch (unlike the county) and the prices are great too! I’d say better than the competition in fact!
The gentlemen who picks up our garbage is personable and easy to talk to. He even brought a treat for our dog!
I would never go back to using the county’s garbage removal services as long as The Garbage Man is available!

I've been using the Garbage Man since Aug. 1991 and have never considered anyone else. I've come to know my collector very well and often watch for him on Tuesdays and share a visit. The company and its staff are professional, personal, clean and dependable, and the Bartha family are a great bunch to know. It also means a lot to my wife and I that supporting a local business is very important.

On Nov 1, 2017 one of the drivers was driving on the complete opposite side of the road, ran our truck into the ditch, and drove away. When we called to complain to the city we were told they wouldn't do anything because it was a third party (Garbage Man) who did that area, and then the Garbage Man said that they would "talk to their driver." That does not get our truck out of the ditch. That does not explain the horrendous actions of driving away when someone may have been hurt. And it sure doesn't pay our tow bill. When we called them they tried to pass it off, though we confirmed with the city
