Our goal is to foster a love and appreciation for something we all hold close to our hearts. The Academy offers Piano, Voice, Violin, Theory, Harmony, History lessons as well as Group Music Lessons for preschoolers at two locations in South & West Edmonton. The "Discover Music" program for children ages 4 to 7 makes first steps into music memorable and enjoyable.
Creating an atmosphere of a game during a lesson helps to wake a child's interest in music. The students of the program learn to play piano/keyboard and are introduced to a variety of musical instruments. It's a 6-month program that combines pre-recorded and live lessons. The proram activates child's musical potential and builds piano skills early on in a playful, encouraging atmosphere.

The Discover Music program for children ages 4 to 7 makes first steps into music memorable and enjoyable. Creating an atmosphere of a game during a lesson helps to wake a child's interest in music. Playing with "TUNEimals", children learn the names of piano keys and musical notes. We teach the fundamentals of music such as note reading, development of the musical ear and rhythmical sense, through numerous games and activities.
Denice is from Hazelton, B.C. and has a vast array of experiences associated with logging camps: the wilderness mixed with music-filled evenings make up her early years. Denice began studying voice with Dr. Wendolin Munroe at age 17 and then with Professor Harold Wiens at the University of Alberta in 1987, where she sang many operatic roles and solo performances.
The Academy's students have received Gold and Silver medals for achieving the highest marks in Alberta on their piano, voice and theory exams. They are winners and scholarship recipients of the Edmonton Kiwanis Music Festival, Fall Festival and Talent Explosion Festival, and are finalists of the Canadian Music Competition.
