Services
Massage Therapy, one of the oldest healing arts, has contributed to the health of millions of people over many thousands of years. Many people seek treatment from a Registered Massage Therapist to soothe sore muscles, relax tension from the body, improve circulation and vitality. All massage therapists at Midnapore Physical Therapy are certified with a minimum of 2200 hours of training to ensure a professional and therapeutic treatment.
Craniosacral Therapy is a light touch, gentle treatment that can affect tissues very deep in the body. For people who want deep tissue massage, often their tension lies deeper than massage therapy can reach. Craniosacral therapy works to balance and release tensions primarily in the fascia or connective tissues.
Mary Lynne our Physical Therapist works hard with seniors to combat the difficulties of aging. Keeping mobility and function in all our joints and muscles is essential for maintaining independence and quality of life as we age. There is mounting research that acknowledges the link between a healthy active body and a healthier aging brain.
Physiotherapy can help you manage your pregnancy and recovery. This can be a challenging time for expectant mothers. Besides managing new responsibilities and details, managing how well you feel is also very important for a healthy birth and recovery. The stronger and healthier you are during your pregnancy will help you be the best for your family and yourself once your little one arrives and seems to take every moment of your time.
Forget everything you thought you knew about strengthening or rehabilitation - and insert DNS!. DNS is a great tool for rehabilitating babies or children with developmental delay, babies who don't roll or crawl like their peers, and for scoliosis and poor posture. Adults can benefit as well and athletic performance can also be enhanced.

Mary Lynne's hands on approach is what keeps me functioning. She continues to educate herself and tries new and established techniques, as she listens to my body and adapts as needed. She gives tips and tricks to apply at home. She works skillfully and purposefully each visit for maximum results. I couldn't ask for a better Physiotherapist.
