High Country Equestrian Centre

High Country Equestrian Center is a local leader in equine boarding and training. Our team has extensive theoretical and practical experience and a keen passion for training and contributing to the lives and positive experiences of others. For over three decades, this facility offered boarding services and training.

Situated on 23 acres in the rolling Foothills, our full service horse boarding facility operates year round. Our equestrian center houses indoor and outdoor arenas and pasture areas. Our love for people and horses means we are truly passionate about the work we do. Various lesson programs are offered and available to all ages and abilities, including therapeutic riding programs.

We've expanded our riding lessons programs to accommodate a larger variety of instructing for more riding levels. This program has been specifically designed for those with little or no riding experience. Horsemanship: "Getting to know your horse" sessions covering basic safety, catching, grooming, tacking.

High Country Equestrian Center is proud to host 4: 13 Therapeutic Riding Association which focus on providing children and adults with special needs the opportunity to experience the physical, social, and emotional benefits of riding on and spending time with a horse. 4: 13 Therapeutic Riding Association is a newly created charity for a rapidly growing therapeutic riding program for persons aged 5+ with special needs, of all abilities.

The wonderful memories made and success of therapeutic riding programs is due to the dedication of strong and generous volunteer team.
