Services
Here are some of the important steps we take while filling your prescription at Credit Ridge Pharmacy. Work with your prescriber to ensure your drug therapy is safe and appropriate (including the dosage form, directions and length of therapy). Provide education about your drug therapy including expected therapeutic effect, potential side-effects and precautions.
The North American vaccine is developed each year to work against three strains of influenza virus, based on trends seen in the Southern Hemisphere. The best time for vaccination is early October to mid-November. Anyone who is in contact with high-risk populations (including health care workers) should also receive the vaccine.
Credit Ridge Pharmacy pharmacists can provide you with routine injections by medical directive. We regularly administer vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) injections, erythropoiesis-stimulating agents such as Aranesp, some chemotherapy agents and low-molecular weight heparins. This service does not require an appointment making it a convenient alternative to visiting your doctor's office or hospital for injections.
At Credit Ridge Pharmacy, we provide Methadone and Suboxone treatment to help you or your loved one to be free from addiction. The most common side effects of methadone include constipation and sweating. Although these can be unpleasant, they can also be managed by your health care professional. The other less common side effects are explained and monitored by our pharmacists.
How well a compounded medication works can be directly related to its preparation, which is why the compounding pharmacy you choose is critically important. Regular training for compounding pharmacists and technicians, state-of-the-art facility and equipment, and the highest quality chemicals are essential.
