Lighting 101 Report

Simply add the dimensions together. For Example, if foyer is 12' X 16', add the 12 plus 16 - to get 28. The Proper size chandelier would then be 28 in diameter. This works for any room. Make sure the bottom of the fixture does not hang more than 7 feet from the floor. If windows are present, center the fixture in the window so that it can be seen from the outside or choose a height that will give you the best look.

I bought a dining room ceiling light and a floor lamp from InHome Lighting recently. Joseph was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in choosing two new light fixtures for our home. When I picked them up from the store they were wrapped in boxes but it was only when the electrician opened the boxes in order to install the fixtures did we realize what Joseph had done....he put so much thought into the packaging to make sure that nothing would break and that the fixtures arrived in perfect condition. I also made an error in choosing the incorrect light bulbs for one of the fixtures. Joseph had no problem with me exchanging them for the correct ones and making sure I was entirely happy
