Lovely pub, excellent beer and you couldn't meet a nicer more helpful bar maid than Bella on a Saturday night, but don't ask her the football results.

A great little pub with a warm welcome from friendly staff, a dozen beers and ciders to choose from that are changed regularly, but none of your run of the mill drinks( fosters and the like ). All set in a grade 1 listed building.

My pie came completely burned out, literally not possible to eat.
Not a great selection of ales.
P.S. after reading the reply:
Yes I ate it cause I needed to eat something, and it was late to wait more or go to some other place. Nobody came to check how I was doing. And I actually complained to one of your staff at the end, she just said she was sorry, and nothing more.
Anyway. I left my response so you take care of your customers better next time.

Classic pub vibes, delicious homemade pies with a pub and pint for £10 deal. The lighting was a bit more Sainsbury's than romantic pub but can't really complain. Amazing, friendly service. Highly recommended.
