If you should need it, we offer emergency eye treatment. It's faster than walking into the emergency room at the hospital, and it's also covered by Alberta Health Care. We've recently added an Optos scanner which allows us to capture up to 82% of the retina in a single image.

Dr. Kerrie Snider was born and raised in Medicine Hat. She graduated from Medicine Hat High School with honors. She then moved to Waterloo, Ontario, where she began her studies at the prestigious University of Waterloo. She completed her Bachelor of Science in 2001 and was accepted into the School of Optometry at the University of Waterloo.
From complete eye exams to laser surgery consultations and post-surgical care, Dr. Schwandt and the ClearView EyeCare team provide a wide variety of eye care services. Our clinic is equipped with the latest in eye care technology, including retinal photography, OTC imaging, and visual field testing.

Dr. Kerrie is thorough and kind. The staff are friendly, informative, and fun! I can also tell that they understand eyewear is a large expense for most people and are sensitive to people's budgets and needs. I also like that it is a smaller shop. The selection of frames is wonderful, yet not overwhelming.

Its been a couple years since I went here for myself and my child. The doctor wasnt very personable, dismissed my concerns without giving any explanation. The glasses were very expensive, too expensive for me but got them anyways. My childs glasses havent lasted as long as others have. The metal has tarnished, nose pieces fall off. Definitely not what I expected from such pricey frames.
