This Kamloops motel is off the Trans-Canada Hwy & a 20-minute drive of the British Columbia Wildlife Park. Take a pit-stop at the Trans Canada Motel after a long and winding drive along the Thompson River on the Trans Canada Highway. We have a queen-sized bed in every guest-room, ten of which have a kitchenette with a full-size kitchen.
Make yourself a coffee and relax for a while with our cable TV package. We also offer coin laundry and free local calls. The Trans Canada Motel is in a great location for wildlife lovers and bargain hunters: the BC Wildlife Park and Valleyview shopping districts are both just a short drive away. And speaking of drives, the Trans Canada Motel has great golf packages too, so don't forget to ask our staff about them.

Room was fairly clean and spacious and had a table and chairs. However the room smelled of cigarettes and we were not asked if we wanted smoking or non smoking. I did ask to be in the room farthest from the highway and we were given that. Bedding was old and pillows desperately needed replacing. There was no sugar or anything for the coffee. I felt the room was overpriced for what was provided.

I stayed here for 3 days during a vacation I recently took to BC, the hotel is old and a bit dated, but the room was ok, came with a big screen TV, internet access, toaster, microwave, minifridge and coffee maker, as well as an AC unit. For the price you pay compared to other hotels, it seems you do get your moneys worth. The guy who runs the place seems like a nice guy. I'd stay again.

I would leave an absolute zero rating if I could! When I first spoke to him on the phone he told me it was going to be 134 with taxes and I got charged 172. And when I got to the motel everything was stained from the drapes to towels. I couldn't even be bothered to stay here. Don't bother coming here even if it's the last place you could find a room stay in your car it's more sanitary then this place I can guarantee you👌

I am a small business owner. I and my staff stay at motels all over the province of B.C. We are not picky by nature. This is the worst motel we have ever attempted to stay at. The rooms were deplorable. The staff did not care when we complained and requested different rooms. We did not stay the night. The motel Managment refused to provide the return of our deposit stay at your own risk.

There is plenty of mold in the washrooms and the kitchen suites smell musty.
-cookingware provided is in terrible condition.
-absolute bare minimum is done to keep rooms tidy.
Staff will enter the room to turn off lights but not to clean up any of the obvious mess.
Also the family that lives here are very noisy throughout the week as they stay in adjacent rooms.
Also the noise from the highway is pretty loud..
Washrooms are especially outdated and not having an exhaust fan is a perfect recipe for mold.
