We had a Thanksgiving family gathering for Thanksgiving weekend. Even though the weather was wet there was always lots for the kids to do! We were all happy with our transient sites and the rental of a cabin. Annalise was very accommodating and the family does a great job keeping it clean and the sites manicured.
We have never been to a private campground before.
and we were pleasantly surprised. It is now questionable wether we go to provincial parks again.
We will definitely come back👍. John and Nelly LeBarr

As private parks go, this 0kace is a gem. It has the beauty of a provincial park with the amenities of a private park. The beach is BEAUTIFUL and Lucas, the owners son, works constantly and diligently to keep everything nice. The sand is raked daily and the pool and park in general are super clean.
The transient sites are large with a gravel pad and treed. There are trails in the deep woods which, although not terribly long, are beautiful. There is even a 9 hole disc golf course set up in the woods. The lake is small but weed free. All in all, this park is fabulous. The only draw back is the waiting

Such a beautiful campground! This was our first trip there and won't be our last! Everything is kept immaculate. So many things for kids and adults to do. Mini golf, shuffle board, pickle ball, volleyball, basketball, disc golf, walking trails, two playgrounds, beautiful beach and large swimming pool. Everyone is so friendly there and even as transient campers we felt welcome. It was lively at night but everyone respected the 11pm quiet time. Cannot say enough good things about this campground.

My boyfriend and I have already stayed twice this season (2020) in the Owls Nest Cottage. Both our stays were amazing and the cottage was super clean. The cottage itself has everything you need and more. We forgot our roasting sticks for the fire and they had those under the cupboard. The campground itself has lots of amenities for all guests to do for example trails, mini golf, basketball court and all the Seasonal Owners are very friendly. The owners are just lovely and very welcoming!
We will be headed up for a third time Labour Day weekend to stay in the Owlette the smaller cottage. We cannot

We stumbled upon this campground by accident and couldn't be more pleased! The nicest, cleanest, friendliest seasonal campground we have seen anywhere and the transient sites are large, provide both shade and sun and there is lots to do. We wanted to come back more often but it was fully booked and understandably so as it is a great place. The owners bend over backwards to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Their handling of everything during this time of Covid19 is impressive. Will be back again for sure.

I spent three nights at Almaguin campground in late September 2020 with my husband, 3-year-old son, and two cats. It is a lovely RV resort with everything you can think of from a Rec Hall filled with games and movies to a beach with a playground and boat rentals. It has hiking, mini put, a pool (closed for the season) and is close to Algonquin park. We loved spending time on Owl Lake in the canoe. The water was clear, calm and quiet. The autumn colors were stunning. The hosts were lovely people who made our trip very enjoyable and special. Thank you so much Annelies.

Beautiful quiet campground. Amy and Willy are two of the nicest people you'll meet. The campground is a great place for kids with lots to do and no cars flying around the roads like in provincial parks. Bathrooms are spotless and the entire grounds are incredibly well maintained. I can honestly say I've never been to a campground I'd recommend over this one.

This is my 5th year at this campground as a seasonal camper. It is our summer oasis and escape from city life. Owners are doing an excellent job maintaining the grounds and keeping the facilities clean. I see overnight campers returning to this campground every year, some even spend three or four weeks every summer.
The campground is pretty close to Algonquin National Park where there are many outdoor activities to enjoy on top of the ones the campground offers such as hiking, swimming, beach volleyball, basketball, horseshoes, mini-golf.
I definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking
