In 2013, husband and wife team, Matt and Tanya purchased two tired frame stores, one in Westmount and the other in Dorval, with the goal of revitalizing them into a modern framing company, Le Frame Shoppe. Matt, with years of experience in design and custom framing and Tanya, a former Director of Operations, decided that hand in hand their dreams to own their own business could become a reality.
Boasting a 4500 square foot production facility at our flag ship boutique in Dorval, as well as boutiques in Westmount and Beaconsfield and our commercial, Framepro Services, we can exceed expectations on your small- or large-scale projects. From inspiration to installation, we want your framing experience to be remembered.
Our custom frames and products are handcrafted with pride at our Dorval workshop by Le Frame Shoppe's team of artisans. Starting at only 2.20$ a united inch (height + width) our BASIX line includes standard glass, a single mat and labour. I brought two water colours done by my Mom whom we lost during covid. I am absolutely thrilled with how they turned out after having them framed at Le Frame Shoppe. The advice and suggestions given to me by Karin have worked out beautifully. I would never have thought of using the colours she helped me to choose for the matts and I would have been at a loss as to what kind of a frame would work with each.

Karen was a wonderful help to pick some frames out. I didn't feel like I got pressured into buying more expensive options and she even helped me lower the price of some frames by changing some little things.
I'm definitely going back to this place and I recommend anyone looking to buy a frame to visit the store and have the glorious opportunity to meet Karen!
