Today was the second time I have used the services of My IT Guy. I was very pleased with the first interaction I had with Mike, who came to my home to sort through some fairly knotty computer problems.
Today, Adam and I connected remotely and he spent time sourcing the difficulty and fixing it, all the while keeping me advised of what was going on. He was very low key and direct, commiserated with my frustration, immediately inspired confidence in me that he could help, thoughtfully answered any questions I had, and just generally made me feel at ease with the (mystifying) process of computer

I had a hard drive crash on a brand new (5 month old) $4000 custom built computer with 4 redundant RAID discs that stopped me dead in my tracks (both business and personal PC). It did as directed and saved the data (although with errors) and nothing was lost. However, the recovery of the system was beyond my abilities. MyItGuy was recommended by the company hosting our website. They recovered and repaired everything, after 5 days of effort. The bill was not inconsequential but worth every penny to address/save what was wrong and correctly rebuild the system as it should have been done the first

Recently my laptop hard drive was corrupted and all data was unrecoverable which meant buying a new computer. Andrew was fantastic! He did his absolute best to retrieve my lost data which turned out to be impossible. He provided recommendations for a new computer and also set my new one up. Then my router/modem stopped working which created more issues!! Throughout all of this, he worked very hard to fix all of these issues and I am happy to say that everything is working beautifully now....and very fast!! Andrew was knowledgeable, he responded quickly every time and the costs were extremely reasonable

I must tell you how impressed I was with Don a few weeks ago. My work computer got locked out because of some Norton issue and I had a client coming to see me within minutes of this occurring. I immediately called your team and Don responded very quickly. He got my program unlocked and I was able to go on with my client's session.

Adam and his reliable friendly team were my go to guys for many years when I lived in Kitchener.
