We are the only dance studio in Ottawa dedicated to teaching and promoting the urban dance styles of Popping, Breaking, House, Locking, Hip Hop, Vogue, Waacking, and Dancehall. Our goals are to provide the best dance education to our students, promote a healthy and positive atmosphere for creative expression, and raise the level and quality of street dancing in the Capital City!
Services
Our Youth Classes are a great way for kids to have fun, learn some sweet moves, and build their confidence! Each week kids will learn foundational moves, freestyle skills and concepts, and work on small choreography routines.
Each instructor takes the time to work from the ground up with the kids, helping them to not only learn the in's and out's (and up's and get downs!) of each dance style, but also to figure out how to showcase their own unique expression and creativity.Our Youth classes don't only focus on teaching routines and the latest trends, but rather the history and skills that is associated with each individual style.

Drop in and sign up in person, or give us a call and we can get you registered over the phone! We accept cash, cheque, debit, and major credit cards! Some of our classes are drop in based, so they are easier to jump into midway through a session. For other classes give us a call or stop in and ask if it's okay to start late.

My daughter takes classes here. She loves it! She loves doing the different styles of dance and the instructors are all fantastic. More than that, they're great at fostering a sense of community and teaching the students about how to give back. Fantastic studio and my son starts his first course this week!

Really enjoyed my experience at the Flava Factory. I specifically attended the drop in Heels class. The staff and teachers are friendly and I would specifically recommend you to attend a class with Momo as the instructor. The drop in classes are for intermediate dancers however don’t let that discourage you to attend, there are many different classes that they also offer.

Absolutely fantastic experience, and such a great philosophy they have about dance, especially for kids! The kinder breaking program has given my son the confidence to not only perform as part of a group, but to also put moves together himself in a cypher setting. The instructors are passionate and the studio is welcoming, I would highly recommend to anyone and everyone!

The teachers are about the best people on the planet. Super hip, super positive, great with kids, teens and adults, respectful and supportive. The atmosphere is friendly, non-competitive but very encouraging. They push you to be your best without any of the pressure. It is simply put an amazing, close-knit family atmosphere where kids can thrive.

The teachers have ALOT of experience under their belts and have travelled across the world to craft their skills. You can really see that they love teaching and they love what they do.
The atmosphere is nice here - you take a class here and everyone vibes along. Instead of competing against one another. You don't feel like you're being judged here. Love this place!

This place is great! Visited in 2015 and again in 2016, took intro popping each time, most recently with Klassic, 7pm Tuesdays. Everyone I've talked to there is super friendly. Emailed with questions before visiting and someone named Sami responded promptly each time with helpful and supportive information. Vanessa on desk was super cheerful and encouraging. And Klassic the instructor was fantastic, paced his class for the people who were there and made it suitable for everyone's level while keeping it challenging and funky.
