Programs and classes offered at DDGC fall under the "youth sport exemption" therefore you will NOT need to show proof of vaccination status to gain access to the gym. Our James street entrance doors will remain open as they have been this past week. Please continue to check your email and the website for any further updates.
All invited participants will train together during the month of September. At that time, registrants will be divided in to two teams. The Provincial team will participate at the provincial performance event (BC Gymnaestrada) in May and will finish training at the end of June. Participants invited to the National team will participate in BC Gymnaestrada in May (Lower Mainland) and Canadian Gymnaestrada in July (Edmonton).

Duncan Dynamics Gymnastics Club (DDGC) is a not-for-profit organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, managed by our coaches and administration staff, and occupied by athletes of all ages and levels. DDGC has been the Cowichan Valley's only gymnastics facility since 1994. In 2009 we moved into the Cowichan Community Centre.
Duncan Dynamics Gymnastics Club is a non-profit organization located in Duncan, BC. DDGC provides the community a complete range of gymnastics programs. Focusing on fun, fitness, and fundamentals, through excellent coaching, individual attention and in a safe, caring environment, we offer challenges and opportunities to develop confidence and well being for all individuals.
Your child will work on all the fundamental movement patterns while learning through games and fun activities. Your child will move, balance, jump and swing on all types of equipment throughout the session. Kids will start with basic skills and build their competence and confidence through consistent practice.
If you wish for your child to continue to wear a mask as they enter the building and/or during class, they are welcome to do so. All members will be still asked to use hand sanitizer upon entry to the building. It is recommended for guardians for the Parent & Tot classes to wear their masks during class but it is not required.
Gymnastics can be a great foundation for all forms of sport and physical activity. DDGC's Developmental program is by invitation only on an annual basis. This program helps to develop a great base of physical literacy and gymnastics basics, so that these young athletes can be confident and well-prepared to continue to be successful in gymnastics, or in a different sport that may be more optimal for them.

Very displeased due to a lack of communication between the club and the home front. We were members at one point but chose to stop due to a lack of communication and lack of response from the leadership team when we had requested a change in coach due to interpersonal difficulties. They are not clear about what skills are needed to improve, nor are they clear how to complete the skills unless you record the entire team while they are doing it. I find this a violation of the other team members right to privacy. They have a very nice facility.

I booked the gym for our toddler play-group and it was an absolute blast! The coach who hosted us, Rebecca, was exceptionally warm, kind, patient, and on-the-ball. We had kids from 15 months to 4.5 years and each of them had the time of their life. Great facility and fantastic hosts! Thank you!

I signed my 12 year old daughter up for their gymnastics summer camp. One would assume especially through a gymnastics studio that the majority of the day would be filled with learning actual gymnastics. This is more of an overpriced day camp with minimal gymnastics learned. I would expect this type of camp through a community center and not a professional gymnastics studio. I would also recommend not sending any kids over 10 year of age even though the camp is for 6 to 12 year olds as its filled with mostly games and arts and crafts not suitable for older minds. We are likely out 280 dollars for

We have been greatly impressed with this club on more than one occasion. Our son, a competitive athlete in both Artistic and Trampoline Gymnastics was in a tough position these past couple years. With inconsistent training due to program cuts and coaching issues in Nanaimo, he found himself in desperate need of training hours in order to remain in the sport he loves. Duncan Dynamics has always welcomed him, allowing him the training hours needed to maintain his strength and flexibility. The door still remains open if we are in need once again. Although this club didn't necessarily have the equipment

Horrible place. My niece trained here and I am happy that her mom took her out. I would come watch her train from time to time and it ihas become despicable! There are coaches that have zero experience at all! The new head coach has never coached any great athletes and has done nothing good for this club. I did some research an she is nothing but an old gymnast that now works for money. The other coaches are so poor at coaching. They are the ones that train the interclub and competitive gymnasts that are now going down hill. There is one male coach that is pretty good from what I have seen. Those
