Generally unwilling to put in the effort to find parts and in my experience will never attempt to call you back regarding parts. On one occasion I came in searching for a radio, which they keep behind the front desk and the guy behind the counter couldn’t be bothered to turn around. Can’t stress enough how much you should take your business elsewhere

Always good to deal with. Husband has alway dealt with them, for years, and other than having to wait for reply, they are on the ball with information and a huge selection of used parts. Always seem to have what he wants, and they know what they have.

Elgin’s is a great place, lots of hard to find parts at a very reasonable price and the staff are good guys, you just have to be patient and remind them a few times, if you’re whiny and in a big hurry than go to napa, but if you’re looking for something rare and on a budget than this is the place.

The elderly man (owner) is not fit to be there . The helpers are friendly but the owner has the last word also he will not let you enter the yard to look for parts .Hopefully when he finally retires then things may change . But don't go there . I gave him 1 star .

Don Lowry (the owner) is old, senile and comes across as rude. That being said, if you can put that aside, Elgin's has an enormous selection of auto parts and accessories for used vehicles. But don't expect to get what you need by calling on the phone. If you want anything from that place, you have to go in person (bring cash, that's all they accept). As a side note, I bought a 2005 Hyundai Elantra from Don at a very reasonable price, that was 5 years ago, and the car is going strong still to this day. Don is very honest, but he comes across as rude if you don't already know him. I'd give 4 stars

I would really give this place a big FAT 0!!! . I phoned the sounded great said he would get right on it. I waited Over an hour or little more. I than phoned back and a different guy pick up and said he has heard nothing about my phone call and he is the guy the goes and looks for the stuff. I said thanks for wasting my time.😠😠
