Services
Mainroad maintains a 24-hour call centre operation serving B.C. and Alberta operations. These hotlines are not a substitute for 911. If you encounter a road situation that requires the attention of police, fire or ambulance, please call 911. We encourage the public to report changing road conditions that could cause a hazard to the driving public.
The Mainroad Group is an employee owned company recognized as a leader in providing innovative, safe and reliable maintenance, products and construction services for civil infrastructure works across Canada. We celebrate a diversified portfolio of businesses that provide the expertise to solve any infrastructure need.
Please report accidents, unsafe road conditions and road kill to Mainroad's 24-hour hotline. This hotline is used to update DriveBC, dispatch additional personnel and record public communication as required. Being prepared for whatever winter throws our way is paramount. Winter weather challenges our driving skills - make sure you're up to the test!
Mainroad is a key partner in the Work Zone Safety Alliance - we would like to remind drivers to Slow Down and Move Over when approaching all roadside workers and vehicles stopped on BC roads.

The BC Roadbuilders and Heavy Construction Association helped to change BC's Motor Vehicle Act Regulation to include highway maintenance workers, utility workers, land surveyors, animal control workers and garbage collectors under the "Slow Down and Move Over Legislation", which also protects operators of emergency and enforcement vehicles and tow trucks.
Our operations within the transportation industry has lead us down many roads in British Columbia and Alberta. It gives us the opportunity to interact with many stakeholders ranging from governments to community leaders, associations, businesses, groups, and the public.

We recognize that local engagement and involvement are fundamental principles to the process of delivering excellent maintenance, products and construction services for civil infrastructure to all stakeholders. We make a conscious effort to hire local suppliers and students for summer project work and utilize local resources as well.
