Must have valid apprenticeship with Alberta and Industry Training or Journeyman Red Seal/ Interprovincial Certification. Ability to maintain positive working relationships with others, both internally and externally. Ensure that site safety measures meet or exceed the parameters set out by the Health and Safety manual.
Here at North West Crane, safety is a major concern. All our mechanics are safety-certified, including certifications for WHIMIS, H2S for field service, and First Aid. Also note both our facilities are COR safety certified as well. We choose to be proactive in our concerns for our employee's well-being, and work with a mindset to prevent, rather than react to, accidents.
North West Crane pile drivers are designed to be effeicent and easy to use. The leads are a floating style that include a 4 point harness that is held by the hook therfore the lead does not pin directly to the boom. The newly modified design includes a larger hammer (now 6,000 lbs) and are 40' long with a 10' pin-on extention (if the full 50' lead is required).
