They use a 'service' that tracks down families of deceased loved ones and cold mail them a pamphlet offering their service even if you've never reached out to them or even live that close to them.
When I called to explain that my mother had not been expecting it and being several months later, it upset her. They said they would pass it along. They don't even know how the 'service' finds out that someone has passed.
It was an unnecessary reminder of our loss as we are trying to grieve and move on.
