The Mundell Funeral Home offers a full range of services from immediate cremation or burial to memorial services and traditional funeral services involving visitation, funeral, reception services and facilities. Ever since my grandfather opened this funeral home in 1914, the bereaved of our community have come to depend on the name "Mundell" for the very best in quality, caring funeral service with exceptional value. Throughout our three generations of service, our commitment to meet the needs of each and every family that we are so privileged to serve, has remained constant and we continue to provide the highest level of professionalism.
Three generations of the Mundell family have proudly served the Orillia area through the business that has borne their name since 1914. The first officially registered owner of the properties now known as 79 West Street North, Orillia - our present location - was a resident of Medonte Township, Mr. William Teskey.
Predeceased by her husband of 46 years Percy in 2019, as well as her parents Hugh and Dorothy Kennedy of Almonte. She leaves behind her only child Tara (Mike) of Barrie, and bonus children Cathy (Ed)of Princeton BC, and Scott (Donna) of Manitouwadge. Proud Grandma of Jason, Chris, Amanda, Andrew (Amy), Kennedy, Jake and great grandma of Cole.

The staff at the Mundell Funeral Home were extremely professional and helpful. They were empathetic and supportive and guided me in making some difficult decisions. When my dear friend and companion Tom passed, Bob and Nicole treated him with respect and dignity when they came to pick him up. At that time I knew I had chosen the best Funeral Home for Tom. I was impressed with how they customized Tom's Obituary and Memory card and arranged for a small service. They also co-ordinated Tom's return to his native Texas and ensured that he arrived safely.
