Our ballet classes are the core of our dance programs at our studio. Every child begins their time at our studio with ballet training. From the tiniest dancer in "Tiny Tots" through our combo programs, ballet is the discipline to provide posture, grace, coordination, strength and flexibility.
Our ballet teachers have shared their knowledge at our studio, but also with different sports teams like hockey, football, basketball, figure skating and synchronized swimming!Ballet training really can help any sport! Our dancers must all take ballet as their first discipline at BSOBAD. Male dancers have options for both our ballet program and specific Male Dance Technique.

Our jazz classes provide our dancers with fun, upbeat, age appropriate music to express themselves emphasizing proper technique, terminology, and history. Students are well-prepared in the genre following the ADAPT Jazz Syllabus designed by Mr. Brian Foley.
Our Jazz team of inspiring instructors, including Miss Nicole and Miss Kendal, grew up in the ADAPT program as students themselves beginning in our Intro Jazz Classes and continuing through the exam program through to Advanced and Teacher Certifications. Our team knows how to motivate and explain in detail with a fun, but disciplined approach so every dancer reaches their full potential!

The sounds of percussion? Rhythm on the Dance Floor? Then tap into tap lessons with an enthusiastic, high energy program! Nothing better than being the instrument using your feet to create sound, and be part of the music! Our program is based on the Canadian Dance Teacher's Association- CDTA.
From Combo 1 where tap is part of your core discipline program, through to our advanced levels, our teachers have created a program where you can learn the fundamentals to learn any tap step that can be "winged" at you from any choreographer in the world!

Their auditioned semi-professional crews, bsoFlo Co. and bsoFlo Varsity, have rapidly developed presence in the Saskatchewan street dance scene. Training under Stephanie Cowan and Andrew Bennett, with guest choreography by Carlo Atienza, they have performed across North America at Disney World Orlando, and ESPN's Wide World of Sports and represented Saskatchewan at the world's top Hip Hop Competitions like World of Dance and HHI.

When we first signed our oldest daughter up for dance eleven years ago, we had no idea how much of an impact it would have on our lives. Being part of the community at Brenda's School of Baton and Dance has been a very special experience for all of us. It's been amazing to watch the process from when the kids were really little to now as they have not only worked hard to learn and hone the technique but they've gained so much more! Along with the excellent physical training, and overall contribution to their mental health, they have developed life-long friendships and have amazing role models to

After attending a BSOBAD show with a friend, our daughter was so impressed that she decided she wanted to dance. She has now been dancing at BSOBAD for 5 years ! Thanks to Miss Brenda and her amazing administrative team and teachers, our girl is growing into a very strong, confident and beautiful young woman. She truly enjoys dancing with her amazing friends, who share her passion for dance, in a fun, positive & motivating environment. The values, work ethic & leadership skills learned through dance, not to forget the countless memories, will stay with her for the rest of her life! We, as parents

BSOBAD is my 2nd home. From starting out as a Tiny Tot at Age 3 with Miss Brenda, to now being the Tap Director for the studio, I have grown up at Brenda's School of Baton & Dance, and now grown my passion into teaching. Miss Brenda is an incredible person, always going above and beyond for her dancers, parents, and BSOBAD families.
